On my visit to Macao I stayed at Conrad for two nights, we were upgraded to the biggest hotel room I’ve ever seen! Enormous living room with dining area and an additional TV-room (no photo of it). The massive bedroom with a sofa and a dressing room joining the bedroom with the bathroom. Bathroom having a separate entrance from the corridor.
Macao is a miniature of Las Vegas, however I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the other way around the next time i visit, Macao is growing fast! I think this is a place well worth visiting but unless you are a big fan of the casino games, a couple of days here is enough. Main attraction are of course the Casinos but I’m sure that for many visitors the food and shopping is just as important. World class restaurants and 600 shoppes are available within the Shoppes at Cotai Central, Shoppes at Venetian and Shoppes at Four Seasons. Of course you can move between all these without going outside. Not that I would like to try, but I think its possible to spend a week in here without dining in the same restaurant twice and without breathing fresh air!
I left the modern Macao one evening and have a walk around old town and see the old buildings built by the Portuguese. We had dinner in a traditional Portuguese restaurant called Antonio’s. The food was brilliant in its simplicity and service super friendly and attentive. Go here!
