Signature Black Cod by chef Nobu Matsuhisa

I’ve been to a few Nobu restaurants including New York and Kuala Lumpur, my last visit was to the KL restaurant which is located next to Mandarin Oriental by the KLCC Park. Next to it is Marini’s on 57, a great Italian restaurant with the highest sky bar in KL, also worth a visit.

The main reason do dine at Nobu is their signature dish the Black Cod, copied by restaurants around the world but none that I’ve tried even comes close to the original. The cod is marinated in miso paste for 72 hours, cooked on low heat and finished of in the salamander. One of my goals for 2016 is to learn to cook this at home!
